🏊 Pool & Jacuzzi Closure – Maintenance Notice

📅 Closure Dates: July 7–9
The pool and jacuzzi will reopen on Thursday, July 10th. The temporary closure allows for the reapplication of the protective mastic seal around the jacuzzi to extend the spa's longevity. The area must remain dry and undisturbed for proper curing.

🎥 Reminder:
Security cameras monitor the pool area at all times.

🚫 Pool Gate Safety Reminder
Tampering with or propping the pool gate open is a serious violation.

Propping the pool gate open creates a significant liability for the community and endangers small children who may wander into unsafe areas. The gate is equipped with a self-closing safety mechanism, which can be damaged if forced or held open, potentially requiring costly repairs.

Please help us keep everyone safe by ensuring the pool gate remains closed, as stated on the posted signage.

📆 The full Laurel schedule is available online. Magnolia updates to follow.

👧 Children at Play – Safety Reminder

Summer brings more outdoor play for children. Please slow down while driving through the community and keep a watchful eye in shared areas. Supervision of children is key to safety and enjoyment.

🚫 Car Washing Reminder

Washing vehicles on the property (including aprons and fire lanes) is not permitted. Here's why:

  1. Safety: Fire lanes must remain accessible except when actively loading/unloading.

  2. Environment: Soap and contaminants can flow into storm drains and pollute local waterways.

  3. Cost: Home car washing will significantly increase our community water bills.

🛠️ Maintenance Updates

Ongoing projects to improve and maintain the community include:

  • Fence Staining: ProTec is continuing to stain all outward-facing fences.

  • Dog Waste Stations: Several stations have been upgraded with more durable bins and lids. Thank you for picking up after your pets!

🎨 Painting Project – Building 83

We're nearly there! PacWest is finishing final touch-ups on Building 82 and beginning prep on Building 83, the last building in our exterior painting project.

🚧 Work Zone Safety:
Please drive slowly and use caution near cones, lifts, or equipment. Temporary parking restrictions may apply on Sentinel Lane and Durango during active work hours.

🚘 Parking & Guest Reminders

To maintain safety and availability of spaces:

  • All overnight guests must be registered in advance.

  • Vehicles parked in garages must also be registered.

  • 📧 For assistance with PIN codes or guest registration: OPS@Securitguard.com

  • 🔗 Use the Laurel & Magnolia Parking Portal (link on HOA site)

🧼 Community Courtesy Reminders

Let’s work together to keep Laurel and Magnolia clean and welcoming:

  • 🐾 Pick up after your pets and use designated bins.

  • 🗑️ Store trash bins out of view after collection—behind gates or in garages.

  • 🚫 Fire lanes must remain clear except during active loading/unloading.

Thank you for being a proactive and respectful member of the Laurel and Magnolia community. Your care and cooperation help make our neighborhood a better place to live.

With appreciation,
Laurel and Magnolia Board of Directors
