Scheduling Your Appointment
Our community has been assigned a dedicated Fiber Concierge team. They are familiar with the unique fiber setup at Laurel & Magnolia and are in a better position than AT&T’s website or 800# to address our technical challenges. Please reach out to the contact below with questions, to place your order or to assist existing AT&T Internet customers with transitioning to Fiber.

We’re pleased to offer this enhanced amenity to Laurel & Magnolia residents. The HOA is NOT involved in assisting with account activation. Please do NOT contact RealManage or the Board regarding AT&T.
Do NOT contact the number listed on AT&T’s website.
If you are a legacy AT&T customer, do NOT contact the customer service line for your current account.
There may be 3rd party door-to-door solicitors claiming they can help activate your fiber account. Do NOT schedule with them.
Account Set Up
The concierge call to set up an account can take as little as 10 minutes. They run a credit check. If you keep your Equifax, Experian and TransUnion accounts frozen, consider lifting the freeze temporarily ahead of your appointment as it will expedite the process.
New accounts are asked to enter personal information using a secure server to ensure privacy. There are a series of agreements to review and accept. They ask you to provide a credit or debit card for monthly payments via secure server. There is no activation fee. A $20 deposit is charged but gets applied to the account.

Mesh Router Tips
Even with the fastest, most reliable internet, homes of a certain size have dead zones. A mesh router (like Amazon’s eero or Netgear’s Orbi) provides stronger, more consistent wi-fi. If already use a mesh router, check the specs to ensure your equipment supports internet speeds of up to 1 gig or more.
This was a one-time community-wide installation
o Installation and activation are separate divisions of AT&T.
o There are few AT&T technicians trained to install fiber. If installation was declined during the community-wide rollout but desired in the future, a special appointment will need to be made with AT&T with wait times averaging several months.
o Getting fiber service in a condo complex like Laurel & Magnolia is more complicated than getting cable service which can be coordinated independently.
o Our buildings are pre-wired for cable and broadband internet. Fiber is a new technology that didn’t exist when Laurel & Magnolia was built so wires need to be pulled to the buildings.
HOA standards prohibit conduit on the outside of the buildings
o The exception is the few feet AT&T is installing between the utility panel and side of the garage (scroll down for images).
o If Laurel residents declined their October installation appointment but choose to get fiber at a later date, it is the residents’ responsibility to inform AT&T they must run fiber inside the garage.
o If conduit is run across the face of the building during a future installation, it is homeowners’ responsibility to make necessary repairs at their own expense.
Magnolia Installation
Installation was completed through the electrical closets attached to each building, so garage access wasn’t required.
