🌳 Tree Trimming Notice

Park West Tree Care will be on-site the week of July 21st to trim the large Podocarpus trees throughout Laurel and remove any diseased trees within our community. Intermittent noise is expected during working hours. Thank you for your patience.

πŸ—‘οΈ EDCO Trash Service Reminder

For any concerns about trash pickup schedules or account details, please contact EDCO directly at 760-744-2700.
Trash service inquiries are the responsibility of individual homeowners and not the HOA.

🚨 Bay Alarm On-Site

The HOA is advising Laurel residents to disregard any letters from Bay Alarm regarding necessary repairs following sprinkler inspections. Sprinkler inspections revealed that most Laurel buildings require minor to moderate repairs which is normal for a complex our age. The HOA is dissatisfied with Bay Alarm’s service and is currently seeking bids from alternative companies for the repair work. Bay Alarm has been instructed not to contact Laurel homeowners directly.

🚫 Pool Gate & Pool Cleanliness Reminder

Security cameras continuously monitor the pool area.

πŸ”’ Gate Safety
Tampering with or propping open the pool gate is strictly prohibited.
Doing so compromises the self-closing safety mechanism, creates community liability, and puts children at serious risk. Please help us keep everyone safe by ensuring the gate remains securely closed at all times.

🧼 Help Keep Our Pool Clean
Please be mindful of the shared space. Our community pool is serviced 3x’s weekly during the summer however recently,  popsicle sticks, hairballs, and other debris have been reported as being found in the pool.
Help protect our pool resources by cleaning up after yourself and reminding any guests to do the same.
Keeping food and trash out of the water also helps deter insects from gathering in the pool area.

🚿 Car Washing Policy Reminder

Washing vehicles on HOA property (including driveways and fire lanes) is not allowed for the following reasons:

1.     Fire Lane Safety: These must remain clear unless actively loading/unloading.

2.     Environmental Impact: Runoff pollutes storm drains and nearby waterways.

3.     Water Costs: Community water usage affects overall bills.

🎨 Painting Project – Building 83 Update

Final inspections and touch-ups are underway at Building 83. PacWest will begin to wrap up with equipment removal and general cleanup this month.

Β·       🚫 Keep fire lanes clear at all times, except for active loading or unloading.
