Dear Laurel and Magnolia Residents,
This past weekend, we celebrate all those who nurture, guide, and uplift others with love and care. Whether you’re a mother, grandmother, caregiver, or a supportive presence in someone’s life—thank you for all you do. Wishing you a beautiful and joy-filled day.

We also want to take a moment to share a few important updates around the neighborhood. 🏊‍♀️ Pool Season is Here!

With sunny days ahead, we’re thrilled to see everyone back at the pool! A few reminders to help keep the space safe and enjoyable for all:

  • Pool hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

  • Please ensure the area is vacated by 10:00 PM out of respect for nearby homes.

  • Parents and Residents – we cannot stress this enough.  Please make sure access is always made with a fob or the app—never by forcing or jumping the gate.  Violators will be responsible for gate repairs.

We're also in the process of refreshing our pool furniture with new, durable pieces. Thank you for your patience as we enhance our shared spaces.

🚧 Construction & Safety Updates

We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and cooperation as improvements continue throughout the property. Here’s what’s happening now:

  • Work crews are actively moving forward. Painting wraps up on Building 73 (2486-96 Antlers Way) this week and continues on Building 74 (2485-95 Antlers Way). Power washing begins on Buildings 75 (2472-80 Antlers Way) & 76 (2471-79 Antlers Way).

  • Antlers Way may be closed near the Rawhide intersection during work hours so please allow extra time and be prepared to loop around the complex to exit.

  • Regular updates can be found at www.LaurelMagnoliaHOA.com

Important: If your home is scheduled for painting, please turn off your A/C (not just on auto) while crews are working. Units will be temporarily covered to avoid paint overspray. You may resume use once the work is complete.

🪟 Window Replacement Project

The long-awaited window replacement project is progressing smoothly! PacWest and LevelUp have begun follow up inspections in Laurel and will move on to Magnolia this week. We're full steam ahead with measurements, orders, and eventually installations—thank you for being responsive during this process.

🔥 A Word About the Fire Pit

As part of our ongoing efforts to thoughtfully balance community amenities with safety and long-term sustainability, the Board is currently evaluating the future of the gas fire pit. While it has served as a welcoming gathering spot in years past, increased fire risk, rising insurance concerns, limited usage, and the significant cost of necessary repairs have prompted a reassessment of its continued use.

That said, we’re not just removing—we’re reimagining and need to be creative with funds. We’d love to hear your thoughts or ideas for this future space. Please share them with us at:

🛠️ Recent Maintenance Highlights

Thanks to our dedicated maintenance partner, Protec, you may have noticed some updates:

  • Outward-facing backyard Laurel fences have received fresh stain for a clean, uniform look.

  • Mailboxes have been cleaned and polished.

·       New lightbulbs have been installed throughout the community to enhance visibility and promote safer evenings. We also kindly encourage Laurel residents to keep their porch lights on during evening hours when possible, as well-lit areas help foster a protection and more of a welcoming environment.

  • Damaged pool chairs are being removed ahead of our furniture refresh.

We’re proud of these small but meaningful improvements, and more are on the way!

📶 AT&T Fiber Internet is Coming Soon

Exciting news! AT&T engineers have finalized plans to bring high-speed fiber internet to our community.  Closet installation will begin next month, and crews will connect to each building’s communication panel.  Residents may hear occasional noise during installation. Once the work is complete, you’ll be notified and will be able to schedule your personal upgrade to blazing-fast 1G fiber service.

Thank you for taking the time to stay connected with your community. As always, we appreciate your continued kindness, patience, and thoughtful engagement.

With gratitude,
Your Laurel & Magnolia Board of Directors
