10/6/25 Board Brief
Laurel & Magnolia Bulletin Board Brief
Monday, October 6, 2025
Welcome, October!
As we move into the fall season, here are a few seasonal reminders along with the latest community updates.
Seasonal & Safety Reminders
• Halloween Safety – Please be mindful of trick-or-treaters and use battery-operated candles for pumpkins.
• Fall Decor Guidelines – We love seeing your festive creativity! Please remember: decorations should not block walkways or create hazards, and seasonal decor must be removed within one week after the holiday.
• Daylight Savings – Don’t forget to set clocks back on Sunday, November 3rd. This is also a good time to check smoke detector batteries.
• Home Maintenance – With cooler weather on the way, it’s a good time to replace HVAC filters.

CC&R Vote – Quorum Still Needed
We still need additional ballots to reach quorum for our CC&R vote.
Our CC&Rs were written when our community was first breaking ground—nearly 15 years ago. A “yes” vote on this ballot initiative will allow relevant updates to the CC&Rs, adapting them to better serve the needs of our community in the coming years. Amendments to our governing documents will still require a majority vote.
If you have not yet voted, please request a new ballot by contacting The Inspectors of Election:
Email: info@theinspectorsofelection.com
Insurance
Our property damage insurance policy renewed mid-September. We have a full coverage policy. For any related documents, please log into the Ciranet homeowner portal.
Firepit Update
Routine maintenance is currently underway and property management will send an email once it is available for use.
The Board is currently reviewing proposals for upgraded user technology designed to improve security and make access more identifiable.
Community Reminders
• Pets – Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Pet waste must be cleaned immediately. Identifiable violations will result in fines.
• Parking – Parking in fire lanes or in front of garages is strictly prohibited, except for active loading/unloading.
• Visitor Parking – Parking spaces may not be reserved. Visitor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with plenty of availability at all times of day and evening.
• Vehicle Washing – Washing vehicles on HOA property is prohibited due to fire lane safety, water conservation, and runoff prevention.
AT&T Fiber Upgrade
AT&T fiber installation is underway, and work is expected to take 1–2 months. The large POD on the north side of Granby belongs to AT&T and will remain onsite during the project. Please refer to your community email for the schedule or contact AT&T with questions.
Thank You
We appreciate your partnership in helping maintain a safe, well-kept, and welcoming community for all residents of Laurel & Magnolia.
Warm Regards,
Laurel & Magnolia Board of Directors
